Starting to blog has really made me realise how poor my organisational skills are. I always have idea that get written down on scraps of paper and end up lost, or I'll look at the random scribble and wonder what it was about.
I started using a little diary this year which I usually carry in my bag but it's so small and hard to fit much in to. I've been using my pad a lot for reminders of events an little to do lists, which are handy because I can set little alarms, but it still didn't help much.
Last month, the lovely Aby over at You Baby Me Mummy was doing a review and give-away of a personalised planner from personal-planner.co.uk. I knew instantly that I needed that planner, and entered pretty much everyday. Well. I only went and won, didn't I?
To say I was chuffed was an understatement, I don't usually win things!
Within a few days, I'd received and email with a voucher code for the site, and I couldn't wait to get started.
The planners are completely customisable, and the whole process is really easy. There are four sizes to choose from - small, medium, large & A5. I went for the large, to give me plenty of room to write all of my crap in to. Once you have chosen the size you then begin to customise the look of your planner. There are lots of colours and designs to choose from, and you can even add your own picture. I went for blues, and my blog header as the front cover.
Once you have designed the front and back cover, you can customise the inside pages. There are options for adding little extras to the bottom of the page, I chose 'list' and 'to-do', because I love writing lists! Again, what you put here is entirely up to you.
When you have finished designing your planner, you can add special dates, such as birthdays or events, and they will print them on to the date for you, which I thought was pretty cool.
I think they tell you to allow 2 weeks for your planner to arrive, which may sound like a long time but I suppose you have to expect that because it's made to order! I was surprised when mine arrived after 1 week, I definitely cannot fault them on that!
So here is my beautiful planner in all it's glory...
I love reading all of your comments and getting to interact with all my readers so pop a comment in the section below and lets chit chat.

It definitely doesn't last long, it's been 2 weeks and it's full of scribbles already.
