I haven't been around much this month at all, I've only posted a handful of times and I've barely even sat down at my computer since the kids started the summer holidays.
I have been explaining my absence on my latest vlog...
For the past few nights I have been sitting down and starting to plan posts again, and I'm feeling pretty excited to get back in to it.
There is one thing that just hasn't felt right though, and it has been niggling at me for a while, and that is my blog design and layout. My husband and I sat down when I first started blogging and made my own custom header, and I played about a bit with layouts and colours, and it has served me well up until now, but I decided today was the day to make the change.
So to coincide with my return to blogging, (I'm making this sound really dramatic, I know, it's not like I've even been away), I've done a full makeover of the blog.
I'm loving it, fresh start for September with a pretty new design.
So I may be absent for a few more days as we prepare for the kids going back to school on Monday, but I will be back in full swing next week.

The new design looks really good, although I find the pink against the white a bit tricky to read in places. (That reminds me, I need an eye test!) But welcome back - it's not just back-to-school time for the kids, eh? :-)
ReplyDeleteLoving the blog design! I have poor eyesight and these colors are okay to my eyes! I can see! Believe me thats so important for me. I wish too that I have this freedom with my blog. I cant do anything about my design and that will be my design for ever =( #pocolo
