Mixed Up Play with Petits Filous

This week we have been mixing up play time fun with Petits Filous Magic Squares. Petits Filous have worked closely with children and parents to create a new dessert that is not only delicious, but fun too.

Available in two varieties, Strawberry & Vanilla, and Raspberry & Vanilla. The flavours are split in to squares inside each pot, allowing children to mix things up a bit by either eating them seperately, or mixing the flavours together for a different taste experience.

Caitlin likes to get all of her cuddly toys together and hold birthday parties for one of the toys. We have a toy birthday party most weekends, and she loves it. This weekend, I thought we could mix things up a little, and do something a bit different and have a messy party.

Caitlin gathered her stuffed friends around the kitchen table ready for the party. The teddies looked on in anticipation as we got set up.

Caitlin had also brought along some of her littlest pet shop figures. I set out some Magic Squares and watched as Caitlin coyly placed some of the figures in to the pots. For a moment she wasn't sure, but as the yoghurt oozed through her fingers, her little eyes lit up.

It wasn't long before the pots were empty, and their contents were spread across the table, her toys and her arms and face. To the sound of her favourite party music, she joyfully smothered yogurt on every available surface.

The best thing about messy play with something so delicious is that you can indulge in a nice tasty treat at the end. Of course Caitlin had to mix things up and use her hands instead of a spoon! I can't blame her, the Magic Squares are delicious and you certainly couldn't let any go to waste!

Caitlin enjoyed mixing up the magic and having a playdate with her toys, but with a little bit of a twist. It's certainly the most delicous messy play I've ever partaken in, and I may have licked a little bit off my own hands during the clean up!
